Not my style man... definately look like something you would find on a ghetto-cruiser. (isnt that somebody's screen name? if it is im sorry lol)
The two tips I like on these cars, are the slant cut stainless (like the flowmaster catback) or slant cut 3" truck tips, or the stainless mandrel turndowns.

Re: WHAT YALL THINK
Naw, I am pretty sure I have seen them on a caprice before...
yeah, now I remember. It had the same tips, but they came out at 90* right behind the rear tires.
and the occupants of the car were doing the "motorcycle dance" to that rap song that used to be popular back then. And one of them had a leg hanging out the window too.
-------
I have also seen those tips on a S10 pickups, always tucked right under the rear bumper. I usually love chevy stuff, like floor mats, rear window sticker, ect. But the tips are too ugly.

Re: WHAT YALL THINK
Wow, talk about tacky. They ruin an otherwise nice looking car. Did the guy who had the car before actually think those would look good?
Re: WHAT YALL THINK
Yeah they look weak and the comment both of you made were ignorant.
Like the other guy said keep the race comments to yourselves. You might have thought it was funny but it wasn't. That stuff always ruins a good car website. I know you don't care about my
but there it is anyway. Anyway cut the tips off and put on some nice stainless slash cut tips and it will look good.

Re: WHAT YALL THINK
Well, seeing how he is from Alabama, I am leaning towards the high school mentality, "chevy is all that is life" rhedneck kids putting them on. Becuase the car looks like an otherwise pretty nice ride.
If it had like 3 layers of limo tint, tv's velcroed to the dash, and tacky rims, I would think the other way.
(by the way man, I have nothing against alabama, I wanna move down there someday to get away from this ***-hole new england lifestyle)

Re: WHAT YALL THINK
I've always been a big fan of the z/28 tips on our cars--hell, I'm even thinking of getting them on my Formy.

...and I agree that those bowtie tips look like something some all encompassing racial slur threw on there

hehe...ignorant...since when is saying a "white guy" ingnorant. Whatever, your right about your 2cents. I do like the tips Brandotron showed, those would look better than those bowties.
Re: WHAT YALL THINK
AC, I wasn't talking about your comment . I was talking about "a black guy putting them on and the people dancing in the car dancing to the rap song." Let's get one thing straight. I am not going to start a race debate here. I said keep the ignorant comments to yourselves meaning the people who made them. This is a car website for people who like these cars in particaular and we are supposed to be helping each other out with issues and giving each other ideas on how we can improve our cars. Making stereotypical race comments justs make the atmosphere "tense" and not enjoyable. Let's face it there are blacks guys who like those tips and there are white guys who have them on there cars. Cars ranging from rusty Chevy trucks to old school 50's cars and the ugly donks that are jacked up to the sky with 26" rims on them. There are black guys that have them white guys , Hispanics , Asians etc. Its all personal preference. As far as the other comment there are plenty of people of different races dancing to some hip hop song in there car as well. I am sure there are some white guys banging their head to some rock/metal songs in there car. Big deal what does that have to do with cars. Finally I'm black ( not like anybody cares and it doesn't really matter what race I am) I don't have those tips on my car. Never will , I wouldn't put them on a car I was sending to the crusher, neither will any of my white friends .I may be dancing to some rap song in my car or listening to Metallica, Slayer or Pantera (which I do have in my car) banging my head ,playing the air guitar/drums. To me the " Bowtie tips" are corny. They used to be popular at one time but they are old school nowadays. To the owner of the car if you like them fine keep them if you don't cut them off. You drive the car everyday and have to look at them not us. You got a couple of opinions think about and decide for yourself. Enough of all of this talk lets drop the subject and go on enjoying our cars !!! Later.....

There is a guy around town with a caprice on 22's decked out with chevy stickers on every window and he has these tips and yes he happens to be black, nothing racist about that.

Re: WHAT YALL THINK
I agree with any bowtie exhaust tip looking bad. Not that bowties are going to bring any more "stereotyping" than our camaros already do bring. Chop that thing off and do a nice slant / hidden tip IMO.
