Power Stick Muffler...

Sorry if this is covered but I got sick of searching, takes ages to open pages...

I want to put a power stick chambered muffler on my 92 camaro RS (305 TBI, Stock)...

can someone tell me if I am right that I'll need a 3" in/out on it (that will have to be made slightly smaller at the shop) and a 20" length should fit fine??

Corrections or comments...please?

Re: Power Stick Muffler...

i'd dothe whole catback while you can to get rid of crappy stock pipe.

I'm not sure what pipe is on that car, i'd say 2.25 or 2.5 inch more than likely so you will want the 2.5 inch powerstick

depending on where you put it, a 20 inch length will fit great behind the cat converter like on my setup, or you can stick it in the stock location behind the rear end and run a single rear exit or dump out the back

Thanks.

PS - if I could get a catback for the same price I'd agree, but they are just a TINY bit more expensive!!!! LOL

Re: Power Stick Muffler...

i mean, just do custom piping all the way back. It will sound better, look better and run better

its not gonna be a catback kit for the powerstick you gotta fab up your own. its worth it in the end
