im thinking about buying a spintech one but i dont know if it will sound good on my camaro. has anyone put this one on there camaro. if i shouldnt get this muffler what would be the most ideal muffler for a camaro. i want good sound added performance and better gas mileage

You could have anything under there, you just need to get under and measure. Wrap a string around the pipe, measure the length of the string that goes all the way around the pipe, and divide by 3.14.

You planning any performance mods in the future? If you can, save a few more bucks and get a full 3" cat-back. A new muffler isn't going to do crap if you still have crappy small stock exhaust. These cars are so choked from the factory via exhaust the first performance mod you should do is headers, good y-pipe, and full 3" exhaust.

 

well i was just gonna order this muffler and take it to a exhaust shop to install and and add pipes, cause right now my exhaust is cut from the cat back

yea sure, im gonna take my car tommrow to a shop to get the whole exhaust done then maybe i will do a sound clip if i can find a way to set it up and i wasnt being mean i just get sick of flowmasters on everything. im sure yours does sound good.

I will admit that little rasp you hear is not supposed to be there. Later I found where my missing lifter dogbone went to.. yup went down the exhaust and got caught in the muffler, after its removal the rasp went away.

 

Ok i have the flowmaster 80 series and it sounds very nice. You can hear my car on you tube drifting with the beast but mine has no cat. Now when your car warms up and the idle gose down to 500rpms you cant really hear it. Now when i go up to a stop light i want to still hear a loud rummble but you cant so if it was me i would try a 40 or 50 series.

well you have the 305 so it will only sound so good. So you can put the 2 1/2 and it will sound nice. But if you are thinking about swapping engines anytime i would go with the 3in.
