stiffer front springs to improve ground clearance?

ok well my exhaust scrapes like a siv. I know the front springs have been on there for 180000 miles(stockers) but i have new monroe shocks and i have barely 3 inches of ground clearance under the x member. granted i do have a 700r4 and so i had to drop pretty low. The question is, will running some stiff drag front springs help me at all? I know it would be great for launches but im also looking for an affordable way to gain about a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch of clearance.

btw exhaust in sig, but it is 2.5 true dual from headman shorties

I'd imagine that's common with true duals. New front springs of any sort will probably bump the front end up some. Many members like the Moog 5662's (IROC-style springs).
