Exhaust heat shield
I have a passenger exhaust heat shield that is barely on and would like to remove it. I did a search and somene said it was held on with two screws and someone else said it was mounted with the exhaust manifold bolts. How is this installed? If I remove this how much of a heat increase am I looking at? It is a 89 Camaro Tune port.
Thanks
Sean

Re: Exhaust heat shield
If the heatsheild is barely holding on you should just grab some tin snips or a dremel and cut of the parts that are hold it on. I remember when I pulled my manifolds the heatshield wrapped all around the manifold and wouldnt come off easy.
