Opinions Please on This Exhaust Setup
This is my idea for a tuneable exhaust system. As I increase the power/effective rpm band of my engine, I can tune the backpressure by adding discs to the supertrapp weld-on at the end. The high-flow cat and low restriction muffler help to reduce overall noise. The muffler could also be a bullett type. The O.D. of the pipe would probably be 3".
I think this system would save a lot of weight, and it would either exit in front of or right behind the passenger rear tire. I would do a turn-down, so the exhaust is basically invisible.
Any constructive criticism or education is appreciated!
P.S. - please excuse the rudimentary diagram and use your imagination a little
