New Tips

A buddy of mine blew up the motor in his car, and ended up selling his car as a shell. He had just bought new edelbrock headers, y-pipe, 40 series flowmaster etc etc... He sold the whole package to me for 100 bux. However, because the exhaust had come off another camaro, and of course they aren't all the same, the tips looked pretty bad, being uneven and even crooked.

So, I brought it to the local exhaust shop, had the old tips cut off and had new chrome tips welded on. it looks SO much better now, as they actually come out beyond the bumper and evenly too! I think its a huge improvement to the back of the car... (now i just need to get new clamps, and hide those ugly bolts... projects...

And of course, the best part!!!! ....... you can't just throw away the old tips!! and honestly, whats a 'mans bathroom' without some smoke stacks coming out of your toilet?!

(this is the bathroom in the basement of my house... its the 'garage' bathroom)

Re: New Tips

A diesel powered toilet. I like that. I guess that explains why there's no plunger by the toilet.

Re: New Tips

Yeah, before I got mine done, one stuck out further and one was tucked under!!! I like the look of them coming out just a little like they are on mine. I think it looks mean when you can see them from above when looking at the car!

Thanks for letting me know. I cant decide between 3 1/2" diameter or 4" for my camaro so we'll see what happens.

I went with 4's to deepen the exhaust tone a bit more.

Yeah thats what I was thinking because I only have a v6 camaro so I want to make it sound as nice as I can. I'm leaning more towards 4" but i'm still not entirely sure.
