Ground clearance with hooker super comp???

Should i consider mixing lowering springs with hooker super comp longtube headers? The streets suck in winnipeg but long tubes will allow a stout motor to breath... Im thinking 2'' from stock with some good shocks.

Would this be an issue when driving in the city?

Mine havent hit the ground yet with this spring combo. They did when I had softer V6 springs on the front. They are the lowest point of my exhaust.

Re: Ground clearance with hooker super comp???

I doubt my car would even change much of the ride height if i were to lower it 2'' because the car should have dropped at least an 1'' from new. This is good news.

The hookers hang lower the the hedmans...I have one of the skulte T-56 crossmemeber. so the exhaust is higher at the crossmemeber.

Re: Ground clearance with hooker super comp???

i have a sphon racing th 400 tranny mount and tq arm. does it have to drop for that or can i get arround it? the red camaro with the 2" drop looks just right. what springs are those? are they the sportline. and are they too stiff for drag racing. i like the v6 springs they transfer quick

It has eibach proline springs. I havent had it back to the track since I installed them. I use to have V6 springs on it like you, which work great for drag racing. Ive seen pics of exhaust on here where people routed exhaust around the spohn crossmember. I you run in under you will have ground clearance issues imo...
