Do L98s and LB9s sound alike?

Reason im asking is almost every sound clip of the flowmaster american thunder series is a 350. Will my stock 305 sound just as good as a 350 with the new exhaust?

The L98's tend to be a little louder/deeper, but they are similar though.

Here's a clip of a 305 with an 80 series. I hope this helps you a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GzvX...eature=related

I would normally say from not running a cat. But the description claims he has a cat on it. I've tried MANY videos with 3 different cameras. And it never 100% really sounded like it did in person when I had my 80 series. I had the 80 series with a cat, and without a cat for a short time. I was happy with the sound on both.

I've always thought Flomaster's had that kind of hollow, metallic sound. Especially without a cat. Kinda the reason I bought mine, we all know it wasn't for all-out power.
