Pipe Pics...

These pictures are waaaayy late. As in, the exhaust is allready on the car; has been for nearly a year. I was looking through some SD Cards I have and found these pics, thought I'd share. When this box came in the mail it was like christmas morning. The mufflers are Flomaster Single chamber's. and the pipes are the Summit Universal 2.50in kit.

I know, I've been trying forever to get some vids on here. Problem is, all my pics come from my cell phone. When I try to load the video from it on here I lose the audio. I have really been wanting to share this, trust me. It came out sounding awesome.

All the Camaro's (3rd & 4th gen) around here run around with Flowmaster cat-backs and I believe one Magnaflow. I remember the day I brought this out, had half a dozen people ask what the hell I changed.

Re: Pipe Pics...

bet u my 3" duals with 3" universal summit xpipe and 3" force mufflers with turndowns is louder! lol jk. i bet it sounds great. its funny since alot of ppl dont have tru duals when u come up to one that doesnt u can hear how much better the duals are. i hate single setups. i get asked alot what engine i have etc and the cops seem to like to pull me over for it as well

You don't happen to still have the part number do you? It includes the pipes from the headers back, right?

I just looked in a Summit Mag I had sitting here at the computer and they call it "SUM-642125". Looks like the price went up a couple bucks. Just get on their website and I'm sure its the same thing on there. They have it in 3in too. They selling my mufflers for $95 each in here , I bought them at a local speed shop for $70 each.

customblackbird, are they VForce? Cause I thought those were quieter. idk I just liked the chambered sound, and Flo's are pretty small case so thats what I went with.

EDIT: the kit just comes with the crossover and four legs. I had to have them extended out to reach my shorty's. Didnt have to in the back, just put the mufflers on and dumped em right there.

Re: Pipe Pics...

umm wow they dont even have them in there catalog anymore... summit or jegs. they are chambered mufflers look alot like flowmasters. they are lower profile tho... case thickness is 4.24" and the flowmasters were 5". i had a set of afterburners on mine before i switched. they were amazing i just wanted to try something new but i still have them. they were only 4" case thickness.

my friend has those flowmasters that are in your pic on his stang. they are pretty loud.

2nd pic is the force mufflers compared to the afterburners. the forces are chambered just like flowmaster and were only 35$ a pop. they are loud but a deep throaty sound.

Re: Pipe Pics...

Hmmm... Never heard of the "force" mufflers. Look good though, pretty tough construction. Kinda look pretty similar to the Flow's. Chambered is the way to go IMO. I've seen the flowtechs alot, I think my buddy had Flowtech Raptors on his truck. And yeah the single chamber's are pretty loud, too loud for the street but I like them. Have a deep, open tone down low but get high and raspy real quick as I spool it up. Nothing, and I mean nothing around here even sounds close.

Any advice on how to do that? I guess I can try and borrow a Video Cam from one of my buddies. Do you upload it just like a picture file?
