Weird sound from headers
i have a set off hooker shorty super comps and they're making a weird noise its loud and sounds kinda like an exhaust manifold leak is this normal?

Not normal. Check for cracks in the tubes and that all the bolts are tight (and what's more, that they are even there to begin with). If your heads are clean enough, look for soot around the outside of the tubes on the heads. If you have an exhaust leak at the flange, it will leave this sooty residue on them, which is usually easy to spot on the top side of the flange. If this is the case, make sure your gasket didnt blow out. If this is a recurring problem (gaskets getting changed and leaks still present), then make sure your flange is actually flat and not warped, so that it gets good contact with the head.

thanks for the advice but my motor is brand new and the heads are spotless, ill check to see if the header bolts came a bit loose. thanks again
