I want to see what other people have used for tips on the 91-92 TA's and GTA's.

I need an exhaust makeover this spring with my planned engine upgrades and I have no idea what I can do for tips.

Any pics or input would be appreciated!

I have no tips on mine.. But it is custom done 2 1/2" exhaust with a 30* cut on the back.. I'll post a pic up later, mean as hell.

 

Yeah I have not looked around a lot for different tips but the ones I have seen do not seem to flow well with the 91-92 bumper. I was curious to see if anyone else had found something that looks like it belongs.

That does sound awesome! My magnaflow 16829 Stainless cat back is coming this Wednesday!!! It looks like you got the same 3.5" tips. What exactly is your whole exhaust? I.E. Headers, Y, cat or no cat, and cat back

Edit: what kind of road is that in your pic? almost looks like stone pavers or something. Looks good.

 

Not bad sound on a 305. I currently have a Hooker Aerochamber on a 3" system but will be upgrading to a 4" Mufflex over the axle. Not sure what muffler I am going with altho I don't mind the Aerochamber. I will go with my own tips if I can find something that I like.

 

its stock to cat. cat is empty. three inch to a magnaflow i think. ya i love that new complete stainless kit. it almost looks like you get a pipe to replace the cat not sure. let me know when you get it. if i had the cash i would get that kit for my other trans am.
the driveway is just old but the other part is a 1/8 mile long paved

obviously not a 91-92 but the tips to go with . Check ebay thats where i got mine about 3 years ago .

I like the rectangular tips a lot. I think that my car already had them on once to be honest when the swap was first done a few years ago.

The thing that kills me about back bumpers on 91-92's is that they curve up on the ends as well as slightly in. I would love to see if someone was able to put two 1/2 moons in their bumper and run the exhaust tips that way.
