So I have a pretty tight exhaust system, it was custom made by a friend who owns a fabrication shop. It is all mandrel, and is essentially 1 3/4" Hooker Super Comp headers into a 4" y pipe, with mandrel 4" into a Dynatech 4" muffler that sits roughly where the rear passenger's feet used to. The guy who built the exhaust actually cut the passenger floor out and made a hump for a full sized muffler right there. I love it, it is slightly loud. If I get tickets, I am curious if anyone has tried these:

I had one in my exhaust. Mine is vey similar to yours. Hooker Super Comps into a Mufflex 3" Y into a single 4" into a Flowmaster. I installed mine at the joint before the rear axle. At first I thought it helped. In the end it really did nothing. I took it out.

 

i have one of them in my turn down, i dont think it does anything.
