is it okay to drive with open headers?
I am not sure which board to put this in, but it has to do mainly with exhaust so here is the question. I will be putting a pair of longtubes on shortly and wanted to know if it would be okay if I took an hour long drive with open headers? This drive being so I can have a member on the board build a y pipe for me at his shop.
Thanks
Tim

Drive it with open yes its fine it will be loud! I drove my car with open headers to the exhaust shop also. But its probably not legal in your state and will cause attention.

If you get pulled over tell him your going to get your exhaust on. If he/she is nice they should let it go.

Cool. That's what I needed to see. Thanks. Loud? what did you say? I can't hear you? I might have to bring ear phones hahaha I will have a bunch of exhaust parts in the back of my car so I think the cop should be understanding. If not you'll see me on America's most wanted list in a couple weeks...
