I think it sounds pretty good; definitely loud but good. at WOT kind of crackly but not ***** sounding to me you can definitely tell its a v8.
Re: videos of my 91 Z with an SLP Loudmouth
No resonator? You mean its strait piped
The resonator is the fat section in the pipe near your rear seats. Hold it up to the light and youll see right thru it
I also have LM1 on my bird and it sounds like that. You camera isnt the best at recording sounds thou

Sounds good. Why didn't you install the resonator? I am going to run the same exhaust. But I'm going to use a Borla XR1 muffler in place of the resonator.

Re: videos of my 91 Z with an SLP Loudmouth
my buddy gave me the LM tail section, so i just mated that to my 3" flowmaster intermediate pipe. he had to sawzall the LM intermediate pipe off to get it off his car so it wasnt reusable. the slp resonator doesnt do anything anyway, its just a hollow peice of 4" tubing. eventually ill be getting headers and off road y pipe, so im going to have to use a muffler in the intermediate pipe, a dynomax 6" round ultra flow most likely. that camera isnt the greatest for sound quality, after uploading the files to youtube they sounded even worse. car definitly sounds better in person, but atleast it gives people an idea of what to expect if they want to try one.

I think it sounds fine, thanks for sharing. Did you cut and weld the hangers to fit your car?

I have the LM1 system on my car but with a Bullet. I tried it without any muffler/resonator and it was WAY too raspy for my liking. This summer I was going to use a Borla Sportsman muffler in place of the Bullet but couldn't pass up on a deal for 2 3" chambered powersticks so I think I'll use 1 of those in place of the bullet for now until I can fab up a dual system. I'll be posting vids/pics of it once it's done of course.
I suggest running some form of muffler/resonator. It will make the sound more crisp, get rid of some of the raspyness and make the tone alot better inside the car. Sounds good though! Headers will help tons!

Sounds loud. I helped a friend install a loudmouth on his LT1 car. That resonator is pretty straight through. I'm surprised you didn't get the resonator from him, sawzalled or not.
