ok. you know how they sell complete cat back systems for third gens. well are those only for cars with stock exhaust setups or will they work for aftermarket headers. also, if they do work for aftermarket headers than how does the system work for both shorty and full length headers? thanks

 

Well, the cat back systems are obviously from the cat back to the tips. Aftermarket shorty headers and Y will work as long as the Y is in the stock location. With long tubes, many people make there own Y so they merge at the old cat bend.

SO, buy the cat back of your choice, then decide whether you want full lengths or shorties.
