Dyno Don Header Clearance Issue

I'm in the middle of installing a set of Dyno Don Headers, and Ive run into a problem with the driver's side header. The second primary tubing is touching one of the stock steel brake lines. Has anyone else had similar problems, and if so what did you do? Ive moved the brake line a bit but I don't want to keep trying to move it and risk damaging it. Any ideas???

Could it be that your motor mounts are old and sagging? Not an uncommon problem.

Re: Dyno Don Header Clearance Issue

Move it away from the header pipe.

And X2 on the motor mount question.

I had the same problem with my driver side header (Hooker 2055s). It was barely touching. I just moved the line with my hand a bit. No problems since, and that was 5 years ago.

Re: Dyno Don Header Clearance Issue

Those brake lines aren't going to break. Bend them out of the way.

I'm not sure about my motor mounts, I suppose there ok. For the most part the headers dropped right into place and cleared the frame rails easily on both sides. That and my motor doesn't shake violently when shifted into gear. Other than that I don't know how to tell if the mounts are shot or not.

Re: Dyno Don Header Clearance Issue

If you have plenty of clearance otherwise I would not worry about it.
