cheap headers fix sort of
So i bought a set of cheap *** flowtech headers and put them on with the gaskets that came with it.
these headers are trash, the flanges are poorly made and the bolt holes do not line up. they dont like to seal either.
here is how i fixed some of the issues.
1. cut off the metal on the flange between the ports
2. smooth out the surface on the ports
3. USE A COPPER GASKET!!!
4. APR bolts with red loctite (worked fine for me) or you can shell out the $$ for percy's bolts.
5. torque the **** out of the bolts
I also installed them with the engine out of the car.
been running fine with no leaks at all!
