unfortunately, it looks like the k-member would be right in the way of those working

looks just like the headman hedders i got today, i'll get a pic up this weekend. I was looking at mine and there is no way they'll fit even though united auto supply said they would.

Unless they are 3rd gen Camaro/Firebird specific, they won't.

I was taught never to say no to someone you don't know SOOOO....

maybe if you make your own k-member.... they look a little tall and would drag the street, maybe move the engine up a bit...

Re: will these headers work? pic
I just confirmed on my 89 (which has longtubes). There is no way those will work unless you switch to a tubular crossmember.

The center 2 primaries on the drivers side need to angle towards the back of the car because the stock cross member is right underneath them. Same for the pass side.

I'd sell them, they look like they would work on a truck.

Sell them, you can buy brand new hedman long tubes for $150.

Those are for a Corvette. They will not work.

I have a set of headmans for a G body that look just like the hooker long tubes, I'm going to test fit them when I mock up my LT1, just to see if they fit.

If they fit, then they'd be sold as "F and G body headers". They're not though, they're "G body headers", and there's a separate product called "F body headers".

I own a set of the G body headers, and a set of Hooker long tubes made for our cars, I've put the headers side by side, they are damn near identical, I don't plan to use them on my car even if they do fit, because I have the hookers. but I would almost bet money that they will fit.

Take a look at some of the headers the big block swap guys are using, I think the are for a 2nd gen Fbody, and they fit with only slight modification. just because they are listed for one body and not another doesn't mean they won't fit.

I'll bet that they'll "almost" fit.

Probably right, but it won't hurt anything to give them a try. my guess is that if they don't fit, it'll be because of the number 8 primary tube, it goes back just a little bit further than on the hookers, but, you never know til you find out right?
