Ideas, need advice

So the motor is in the shop being torn apart getting ready for the new build. 383 w/ AFR eliminator heads.

I remember seeing a post where someone had slp headers but the diameter on those headers compared to others were small as hell. I dont want to cut corners in my build so i want decent headers. No edelbrock, no SLP. Dyno Dons, hedman, hooker?

Another question, i found a catback brand new 3'' flowmaster system, still in the box for $250. I dont like flowmasters that much because the are restricted. You think i should pick this catback up and just swap the muffler out for a Magnaflow? or buy a magnaflow catback? I think buying the flowmaster catback and selling the muffler and buying a magnaflow would be better cost but not sure.

Also am up in air for a true dual or 3'' system. Motor should be good for 450-500h.p.

Headman LTs are easier to install and cheaper too. Im not even certain you would loose any power over the Hooker LTs. That and they have systems that will bolt up to them the Hookers do not.

I say all this coming from the aspect that I have had a set of hooker 2210s for about two years...and they still are not installed. I just now got the new ministarter I will need with the headers. There is a whole write up on all this man. You should check it out.
