Exhaust manifold?!?!

So i have an 1982 camaro with a 350 swap from a second gen z28. Recently I noticed an exhaust leak and realized there are screws on the back of the manifold and a couple of them came loose. First question is what the heck are those screws for?!? Second is there something I can do to plug the holes since the threads are messed up (welding it or something)? Third....I went to the local junkyard and looked for a replacement but didn't find anything close...so is there a stock replacement for the drivers side I can buy?

THANKS!

Re: Exhaust manifold?!?!

that looks more like a third gen manifold to me.

try a dorman part #674-518. $85 at advance auto or im sure you could do a search and find it cheaper or closer to you.

Or dorman# 674-276 $109 at advance 2nd gen camaro w/ CA emissions

Re: Exhaust manifold?!?!

Those holes look like where A.I.R. tubes go. 1/4" NPT pipe plugs will plug them right up.

I am not familiar with A.I.R. and the plugs have basically broken off so cant plug them anymore... tried to JB weld but it melts at 600

You could weld those holes shut, or tap new threads & get bigger plugs to fit those threads.

Cheaper than buying whole new parts.
