header question
okay so i have a 1991 firebird with a 305 tbi and a 5 speed this is my first car and i plan a putting a 350 in it next winter , so im going to buy parts that will work with both the 305 and 350. i was wondering what longtube headers would fit. ive shyed away from shortys because ive heard they give up horsepower, is there any truth to this?

Re: header question
No, long tube headers will not work with the T5, the clutch slave cylinder is in the way, shortys are all you will be able to use w/ the 305, depending what tranny you put behind the 350, you might be able to use LT's. Also if you have SFC'S they might pose a problem also.
