Hedman 68478's

I did a search, but most of the info is from years ago. I would like to hear some feedback from those that have been running Hedman Elite 68478's. Specifically, how's the finish holding up? Are they really as beefy as they sound? 3/8" flanges with 14 gauge tubing sounds great.

I already have the matching 17478 Y pipe, so I'm pretty much stuck on these headers. I'm thinking about having the local exhaust shop cut out the 2.5" section from the pipe and weld in new 3" pipe. I think I would be pretty happy with dual 2.25" pipes into a single 3" pipe mandrel bent all the way back.

Same here Had mine for 4 years now - regardless of the ceramic coating they still rust. There's just nothing taht can be done about headers and rust, unless you get chrome headers (even such a thing for our cars?), and then they turn colors.
