My true duals
I built a new exhaust for my 87 Camaro while doing an LS1 swap.
It is 2.5" pipe with an x-pipe and 2 power stick mufflers.
The pipes exit on the sides right in front of the rear tire.

Re: My true duals
#1 any reason you didnt use mandrel bends? Cash for a LS1 and T56 swap and then use autodump crimp bends?
#2 post a pic of the car on the ground and lets see how great your ground clearance is.
#3 your trans cross member looks interesting as well, might wanna beef that up.

Re: My true duals
What I would be concerned about is that it looks like the exhaust almost touches the rear control arms and the rear axle is on jackstands. That means when the rear drops down (or the body goes up) the control arm may hit the exhaust.

Thats a nice looking setup. I bet its pretty loud with those mufflers. So what did you use to paint the pipes?

its loud but i like it. i painted it with 500 degree engine paint but it burned off already so im going to spray it with some 2000 degree header paint and see how that holds up.
