New exhaust. Which one to choose?

Hi there..

I just finished my Engine and transmission project on my 87 Camaro.

It is a 305 TPI engine that have a couple of modifications.
I also rebuilt my transmission so it could tolerate a little bit more HP.

Anyway. I need new exhaust system. My old system is 2,5" and my new Catco 9118 is 3" so I want an 3" system anyway.

I have installed Hooker 2055HKR headers with the Catco 9118 on it.
I now have installed the "homemade" 2,5" catback system on it without a muffler and the sound is good but I don't like the look of it.
And it is leaking where the connection between the 2.5" pipe and the catalytic converter..

Any of you got a recommandation?.I want it LOUD. I just love the sound of a LOUD V8 engine. It doesn't matter if it is "legal" sound, just loud and aggressive.

Since I am from Norway we don't have to many american car exhaust shops here, but I got an good offer from a local store. They have the Magnaflow Exhaust system availible for my car.
Part nr. 16829.
Is that a good system to use??

Please help me out here..

Re: New exhaust. Which one to choose?

The car has edelbrock TES headers, no cats and single 3" pipe to the catback. I bought the catback on ebay for $90 new. It was supposed to be for a 4th gen I believe. One section of the intermediate pipe was reduced to 2.5" I just cut that off then had the muffler shop run a 3" pipe from the y-pipe to the exhaust.
