Will these fit ?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G9005/?rtype=10 Will these summit 100 buck headers fit on my 92 firebird with a 305 ? They seem fine for what they are worth, my car is a street car so im not looking at spending 500+ for a pair of headers for such engine, i think these will do the job just fine for the 305 tbi, i already got a full 2.5in mandrel bend tubing from the cat to a Thrush Welded muffler , just looking for a pair of cheap headers to complete the exhaust, i still need a y-pipe and that is my problem, they dont seem to have a y-pipe to fit them so ill just have to fav my own if i get these headers, my other option is this Flowtech kit wich comes with a y-pipe. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BIG-16102FLT/ again im not looking for expensive fancy stuff here, the cheap ones will atleast be way better than what GM put on the car , rly those crappy manifolds and that 1.5in y-pipe, i think any header set will give some improvment to this engine with how restricted they came factory.

Unless you like changing header gaskets every 1000 miles, don't waste your time with cheap headers. I did and I never will again. If you're on a tight budget, keep the stock manifolds and get an aftermarket Y pipe.
Or, spend a little bit more money for a set of Hedmans and and a matching Y pipe. The low end Hedmans still aren't high quality but they are are better than the Flowtech (Summit) headers. I still recommend getting high quality gaskets and locking header bolts.
Best bang for the buck would be the Hedman 68478's. 3/8" thick flanges, 14 gauge tubing, and a ceramic coating for $335.
