Quiet?

Here is a question that probably nobody knows the answer to seeing as how everyone wants loud...lol!

I am working on a project for the wife to drive around in and need to know if anyone makes a hiflow muffler that is whisper quiet? Do any even exist? This is going to be the ultra sleeper project.

Re: Quiet?

Mufflers don't really restrict exhaust flow a whole lot, so whatever sounds good to you. Obviously stock would be the most quiet, after that Dynomax and Summit turbo mufflers are pretty quiet with just a deep tone. Magnaflow is a bit louder but still pretty tame. Youtube some exhaust vids and find something that you think sounds great.

Re: Quiet?

From what i have seen , the dynomax superturbo muffler is really quiet, yet, flows pretty awesome. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 385 cfms.

Re: Quiet?

I bought a Dynomax Ultraflow (Stainless Steel) last year and am very happy with it. Louder than stock but not too much. Awsome flow numbers, too.
