H pipe with true duals??
Has anyone ever used an H pipe with true duals down the stock y pipe route? I know most people that have done the true duals down the stock y pipe route have used an X pipe. Would an H pipe be to big to fit? If not where would you put it? If anyone has done this, do you have pictures?

Re: H pipe with true duals??
It would have to be a small H-pipe but it doesnt matter how wide the balance pipe is as far as power is concern, but not sure how sound is effected... I'd fab up your own small H pipe.
If you run shorty headers and run 2.5" down the stock ypipe range it will fit great and be plenty of exhaust for most motor builds. I have 3" duals with the x-pipe but easily could fit a H where the stock cat would be. I figure around 3-4" long balance pipe of 2"-2.5" between the two 2.5" pipes will work fine.
hard part is just cutting/fish eyeing the balance pipe to mate up with the main 2.5" pipes.
Else search on summit and jegs for H-pipe kits and see how wide they are. You probably can go wider than 3-4" on the balance pipe piece in the cat area for the H-pipe, but you will have to spread the pipes out to enter the H, and then have more bends to bring them close together on the exit to run down the driveshaft area.
