hey i found a guy who has an intermediate pipe, cats, and an muffler for 50 bucks. he claims that it is 2.5 inch. think its worth it?

Looks mandrel bent, better than stock, especially if your stock is 2 1/4 like mine. Not as nice as 3inch, but like 1/6 the price. Plus you could probably sell the old cats for scrap.

 

I don't know who the "West Dennys Road" guy is, but he sure does list a bunch of items on Craigslist.

 

i was pretty skeptical myself and figured why not ask around. ive got a 91 z28 and he says its for a 82 to 92. there wasnt any changes or anything over the years was there?

 

the connection to the cat(s) are different, but for 50 bux, pick it up, and maybe you will need to visit the muffler shop to have a transition made.

who know's, i might make a run down there and grab it before you do....

say sit cones with 2 cats too, they are almost worth the price in scrap

 

I'd say thats a very good deal.

 

Even if the cats are garbage and unusable, theyre still worth something as scrap. And $50 is worth even if you gotta modify it to fit.
