Smog pump going bad need help

Smog pump going bad need help

Hey i was thinking about removing my smog pump and remove the piping going into the exhaust, what size and where can i find the plugs to plug the holes from the smog piping?

You can use standard NPT pipe caps from hardware store - just remove a check valve and carry it with you to find the right size.

also remember that it wont pass inspection at most places without the smog equipment on it.

It's recommended to use brass plugs in case you ever have to take them out.

i put rubber caps over my check valves almost 6 months no problems...
