Headers on '84 Z28, rusted bolts?
Hey guys. I'm looking at installing headers on my LG4 engine. It still has the stock manifold on there. I looked at the bolts and they're pretty rusted. What are the chances of one of them snapping and how screwed would I be? Thanks

I'll say at least two will break where they mate to the exhaust pipe and maybe 1 or 2 on the engine block lol. but if you spray the s*** out of them with WD -40, let it sit, spray again, let it sit, and spray again you should be able to get em all off okay.

Alright thanks guys. I'll give it a go once I get the money and let you all know how it goes. How much do you think I could get good headers plus a Y-Pipe for my engine? I think I'll just remove the cat, and I already have a flowmaster in place with a single inlet. Thanks

Get something like " Nut Kracker" if you can find it specific for loosening, and dont cheap out on the 175$ flowtech headers, I had to get a custom 3" y pipe made for 500$, and the headers are having issues with gaskets, just get the Hooker deal with headers and Y pipe for 500$ save a world of grief, and get those silver heat shield boots for spark plug wires.
