so im trying to take off my old catback system and here is the problem. i have all hangers and bolts removed but where the I-pipe and the catback system meet I think its welded. Do i have to cut it off? also how high up should i jack the rear end up? im working off of floor jacks and im sure it going to be difficult to remove were the catback loops over the axle. there just seems like there is no room.

 

If its welded then cut it Jack it up as high as the jack stands go minus 1 notch(safety) place the stands on the sit rails not the axle it will allow the axle to drop quite a bit dont and give more room *dont forget to chock front tires
