2.5" mandrel bent H-pipe true duals with 6" of clearance and Magnaflow mufflers
After I decided to go with long tube headers I picked up a set of Headman 68460's here:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exha...ong-tubes.html
Then had them coated:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/afte...ings-wood.html
Then ordered some 2.5" mandrel bent pipe:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/afte...aust-pipe.html
The bought 2 Magnaflow 10416 mufflers:

Here's what resulted. Tacked and ready to weld:

Fully welded:

Painted:

On the car:

Ground clearance:

Heat shielding the fuel/brake lines and slave cylinder:

Cool, I'm looking for a set of headers that will tuck up nicely.

Unless you're making serious HP, those headman headers can't be beat for the price. Of course there's this big argument about stainless vs ceramic coatings...........overall I'm happy and that's what I care about. Also, I only used 1 or 2 pieces of that mandrel bent kit I bought so most of it will be for sale soon.

6" of clearance everywhere? how high is the car sitting?
is that plate on the crossover pipe bolted on with the trans mount? interesting idea, should be fine, but im curious if it will transfer enough heat to burn the trans mount?

The trans mount does not get melted since everything near the exhaust is heat shielded. It probably wouldn't anyway, but I did it as a precaution.
