So I'm ready to put some headers on my Camaro and for a long time I was sure I was going to go with 2055's or Dyno dons, but now that I'm looking around I notice that all of the off the shelf headers have pretty poor merge collectors.

I'm wanting headers with a true collector like so...





The only ones I found that are decent looking are custom long tubes built by the likes of Ed Quay, Lemmons, etc.

Has anyone cut off their existing collectors for better ones? I have a set of Edelbrock TES' laying around and I'm throwing around the idea of redoing the collectors. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy some collectors from?
