Re: Installing matte Black Exhaust tips
DONE! Took me all day! Of course the entire pipe from the cat to the Flowmaster was TRASH! It was full of holes and welded together in pieces, with terrible welds so I took the whole frign thing out, got one pipe, painted the everything thing matte black (including the muffler), and put that in and then put the black tips on. I think it looks pretty insane'O! Like the damn BATMOBILE! I love it, exactly the look I was going for! I need to jump in it and go fight crime or something!

IMissMy86TA - Thanks Dude, I knew you'd appreciate it. I like it. Not too many people have matte tips. I need to smoke my Marker lights also I think.

Re: Installing matte Black Exhaust tips
these just attach by velcro and would be removable if you dont like them or change tail lights. Mine, since it is GTA is pretty blacked out to start with and I am cool with that but yours are not very stealthy (bright orange)

Not a big fan of exhaust tips below the bumper(like the hidden tips or tip for me) but that looks a lot better then chrome.

VHT Nightshades works great & is reversible. I don't recall how, but I did my 97 Tahoe YEARS ago & got pulled over in 2 days. Wife got pulled over by the SAME COP the next day for her covers on her 90 Camaro. She pulled her covers off & I managed to talk my way out of the ticket by promising to "un-tint" them.

To me it just looks like they're dirty and covered in soot.

IMissMy86TA - The Dual tips on the T/A is where's its at. That's a great look. I held the dual tips up to my Formula and they didn't look right...like my car isn't classy enough for them or something
Yeah, your taillights are perfect stock. I'm going to look into those black-outs. Velco? I can see looking in my rear view mirror after a velco ripping noise, and seeing a cover flying off into the wind.
BlackenedBird - When I was at the auto hobby shop putting my window tint on, some poor young motivated warrior was in the bay next to me scrubbing the spray-on-tint off the tail light of his pimp Civic...Took him ALL day with sandpaper and I think soapy water. But they were REAL black.
whatever84 - Thank you. I thought about tucking the tips and giving it that classic good look but went with them hanging out because I like the aggressive look it gives the car. I do like both styles.
DBLTKE - Have you ever seen Mad Max? It's perfect camouflage for driving around in Nuclear rain after some terrorist organization puts their finger on the trigger.
