i have been working on my firebird for quite some time now and im putting the finishing touches on it. the exhaust is one of the last few things that need to be done.

my exhaust i am running is full 2.5 inch. it consists of flowtech headers. 1 1/2 inch primary tubes, 2.5 inch collectors. y pipe 2.5 inch. i have a TON of bent tubes and a front section of 2.5 inch intermediate pipe. i also am running a 2.5 inch flowtech raptor muffler. which when mounted to the y pipe sounds REALLY good and i definitely recommend this muffler. i know a few of you guys will say that i can always just leave it right there but the truth is i cant stand the exhaust smell that fills up the car when its idling.

i need help with the over axle exhaust section. can ANYONE tell me what bents i will need to run the exhaust over the axle? i have a few 45s and a few 90s and some straights. whatever i need i can cut and bend myself.

thanks for any help in advance!! btw if anyone needs any firebird or camaro parts PM me. theres a formula and a mildly looking built camaro in my local scrap yard. both basically full cars.

if you can cut and bend yourself, then just make whatever you need to get over. I usualy just grab a couple of J bends or 90's and cut what I need out of them.

In MD the exhaust has to exit behind the rear most opening door, window... where they feel it can't get in the car to be legal.

WRT to the raptor, I had one on my truck, and it was weird. It sounded great off axis, but if you were exactly inline with the exhaust it sounded loud and scratchy... luckly most of the time you heard it off axis. I was disappointing that in something over about a year here in MD weather both the inlet and outlet rotted off the thing.
