Headers...BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK???
So I got a stock 1984 z28 305 manual transmission, and I was wondering on what would be the best heders for my car. I am not looking to spend $600 and my budget for headers are in the price range of $200-$250
I am also on planing on installing a Flowmaster 80 series muffler to add some good sound to my car, so with that flowmaster I am lookingfor a descent pair of headers to add some torque??and how much would gain...hp and torque?THANKS!
and here are some headers I was looking @ at jeggs.com...

Re: Headers...BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK???
Flowtechs are probably the cheapest headers, but keep in mind you get what you pay for. You're also going to need a y pipe to go with your headers, so budget for that as well.
That being said, you need to do a little searching before asking these questions. Theres hundreds of threads discussing the price and quality of headers.

Re: Headers...BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK???
Best bang for your buck... IMO, if you go with a shorty header, it would be between Hedman and Hookers base on price, tube size, and collector size. In the pics, the Hookers look bigger. I have the Hedman shorties, but I would choose those shorty Hookers ($166).
