Note for those with Dyno Don headers and Earls gaskets..
Dyno Dons headers are a masterpiece, the problem I ran into was with the Earls aluminum gasket flanges. These are the set Dyno Don recommends with his headers.Im just getting everything installed, checking clearences on everything on my motor. I have Trick Flow l98 angle plug heads so I dont know if this info crosses over to other brands of angle plug heads. I installed headers and gaskets, everything went smooth. So before I called it quits for the night I decided to put the plugs in to keep the holes covered. Well the two middles go in smooth the outer 2 &8 I could not get started. I was pulling my hair out worrying the threads might be gone at the lip. Put my finger in the hole, rub it around ,no aluminum shaving, so not stripped. Come to find out after 45 min of this crap I go underneath and found that the socket end of the plug body was contacting the aluminum part of the gasket body. Sigh of relief. What you have to do is mark the area and grind down about an 1/8 or so out of the aluminum, like a rounded hump where the plug would go. Did this and everything is fine now. Dont know if this applies to all l98 angle plug heads, but this is the situation with the trick flows. So a heads up before you even install the headers, tighten down the gaskets and check 1&7&2&8 before final assembly will save you alot of grief. Take care

You're right, I did find that once on Trickflow heads. Seems the plug hole is a little higher up.

Dam i should have posted pics. Don't grind to much those baskets are thin in the spot you do grind. Imagine if i would have hooked everything up. Bolt the gasket to the head snug and mark the gasket . Its 1728. Glad i saved at least one person a headache.
