it is possible but if your using 3 inch pipe its going to hang awfuly low, id watch for speedbumps ive heard horror storied of people ripping there pipes off or damaging them something feirce, "dusty'
s89" what size is your exsaust?, it seems as if your pipes are hanging down a wee bit

Whats wrong with a super single? Like 3"? I know duels are cool and all, but the cars are not set up for them and most of the set up's I have seen around here hang too low and look nasty. If done right just about anything will work out, but IMO a single pipe on a stock or light modded car is just fine and sounds great.

They are surely not needed, but sound good! I do have them on my Iroc though( exhaust system came on it).
It is LOW, but sounds great. Check my build thread for some pictures!

I'd do a 3" single. I think you lose ground clearance with true duals. Even if you dont it wouldnt be an easy install, there's not much space under our cars to work with

The way i've done my true duals is perfect (at least for me). I took it to the city not long ago and went over whatever speed bump I could find and it never scraped.
Hooker 2046, 2.5 inch pipe, and short powersticks make for a very, very loud exhaust. Out in the countryside people do not mind, but i've been pulled over twice going through the city.
Here's a vid of how I ran it

Re: is it possible to have true dual exhaust on 89 iroc? anybody ever done it?
yes but its not a simple task. if i wanted noise, i would just get an exhaust cutout. they are cheaper and less work than true duals and when u uncap its louder than true duals.
