just curious why you would want to do that instead of getting a heated on and weld in bung or reducer with a bung in it you running HHO ?

Re: 02 simulater

o2 sim is only for vehicles with oxygen sensors post catalyst, they provide feedback for catalyst efficiency and typically only read a steady .5 volts. Typically they are run on OBDII vehicles that remove the cats. On a TPI or any other fuel injection system, you need a primary o2 to monitor fuel adaptations, using an o2 sim in this position will not allow the vehicle to run properly.

Re: 02 simulater

Well right now I don't have my o2's or my cat and recently it started running more rich then usual what would be the easyest way to stop that without putting the cat back on

No. A high-flow cat certainly won't hurt you though.

Re: 02 simulater

no you dont need a cat but your oxygen sensor will not work properly if its just straight piped out and the sensor is close to the exhaust dump. I did mean Bung !

Re: 02 simulater

yes, if your car still is running rich then switch to a heated o2s. The o2s should be able to reach 500-600 and be fully functional if you have a bung in the headers up high like the stock location was any lower you need to run a 3 or 4 wire heated sensor.

Re: 02 simulater

Re: 02 simulater

it would be best up higher but might not get hot enough so you may need to run a heated o2s so it will work correctly.

Re: 02 simulater

I have no idea what your auto parts inventory is. You can always contact jims performance .com for a sensor and pigtail.

Re: 02 simulater

Just pick up an o2 sensor for a '95 MPFI blazer. It's heated and uses the standard weatherpack connector. Easy.
