Edelbrock TES header clearance
Passenger side was a breeze. A walk in the damn park. The driver's side header is hitting the steering column and these two silver metal pipes down below just next to the oil filter. How do I remove the steering column? I just need the part of the steering column that's up by the head removed, Any advice? And how about those two metal pipes? They are fairly large so I am calling them pipes rather than lines, although i think someone told me they are brake lines. I have an idea how to remove them, but is any fluid going to come gushing out? Thanks a million in advance guys I just dont want to screw up anything more than i already have.

Easier by far, to remove the engine mount through-bolt on that side, and tilt the engine up with a hoist or the like.
You may still have to bend the brake lines a bit; there's some variation in those from car to car, and the way they go in some cars, puts them right in the way of just about everything. No need AFAIK to remove them for that though.
