If you are using his headers, what kind of performance did you see or feel? Just curious!

Every engine will vary. some motors feel more of a gain then others. Im sure higher breathing engines like a higher flowing fuel injection motor with a sad poor flowing exhaust system would really benifit from the step up. I always say dons are the best shorty headers out there in 3rd gen land.

Indeed. Don's are the best shorties out there, bar none. Whatever performance gains are to be had, they will be the greatest with these.

Wow, those are a work of art! What y-pipes are you guys running with them? I'd imagine that makes a substantial difference too. A lot of people rave about the one that comes with the Hooker 2055's but those headers are only available with the stupid AIR fittings... Dyno Don's + an equally good y-pipe sound much better.

Since my car is mainly stock I would not doubt 20hp (at least) over the stock manifolds. Trending Topics

Well I got a lot people trying to call BS on me last time I mentioned this but I picked up 1.2 seconds and 8mph in the quarter mile. Conditions were damn near identical (ambient temp, barometer reading, windspeed, humidity, track prep).

Re: Performance Gains with Dyno Dons Headers.....
Do you have a single cat or dual cats? I know for sure if you would have had 3.42gears instead of 3.73's you would have broken into the 13's over 100mph because with those gears, you were max out before you cross the line. The max HP is at 46-4800 and you were there at the 1000ft mark. Trust me I've been there and done that. At 5000rpms you should be at 98-100mph. If you had 3.42 you would be at 110@ 5000rpms not to say you would be going that fast but when you cross the line it would be around 4500rpms and still in the power band at 102-104mph.

I had the N10 cats/y-pipe when it was stock, with the Dyno Dons I'm running catless. I had true 26" tall tires on as opposed to the stock 25.6". Not a huge difference but just enough to put me at or around 4800 at the stripe. Sometimes I wish I still had the 3.42's though.

I can wait to gets these headers in. After all Im replace this. This old dented y-pipe with factory manifold. I ordered the duel y-pipe. it will all be mated to a gmmg catback system.
