Looking to do full exhaust on my Z28. 30 years old this year so licensed it as a vintage so no more emissions or inspections!!!!! I want something loud but still sounds good.

No. Duals are a pain. I like my Powerstick:
3" all the way back, no cat.

Dual 2.5" or 3" with an X or H pipe and bullets is what I like the sound of best.
It is also the least practical with the least ground clearance. My opinion is unbiased, I have tried it all so to speak. You have to be careful, one person's opinion of good ground clearance might involve a 28 or 29" rear tire and stock ride height.
On my former car which was an 82 I had:
Hedman Shorties into hedman y pipe into 3" bullet muffler before the axle - For being homemade, this system sounded great and had good ground clearance. I never raced it with this setup so I don't know how it performed.

Hedman shorties into 2 1/2" duals with x pipe and bullets, tucked against the buttom of the car - This setup sounded AMAZING and supported 12's naturally aspirated. The first time I had a passenger in the back of my car, I noticed that the system was actually bottoming out just driving down the road. It bottomed out on EVERYTHING. This was an 82 Berlinetta, stock ride height.

Hooker Super Comp LT's into custom 4" y pipe, into Magnaflow stainless 4" muffler. This setup was loud, but the motor was probably making in the neighborhood of 550 horsepower (solid roller 377 with Pro Topline 235's). I had this system professionally fabricated, it cost $1000 and I supplied the muffler and Y pipe. To maximize ground clearance, the frame was cut to allow the driver's side pipe to come over to the passenger side of the car. I loved this system, it was expensive. I sold it with the car.
