yupper.. flowtechs.. now to get the y pipe.. they are looong and i dont think they will fit on my stock y pipe without modification. probably cheaper to just buy the y pipe.

Re: what kind of headers are these?

Those are the cheeeepest of the cheeeeeeep. You will NEVER get those stupid 3-bolt flanges to stay sealed, especially since they're already visibly bent from over-tightening. You will HATE them. I'd suggest not wasting any further money on them.

Re: what kind of headers are these?

actually i think these are the headers
http://www.ebay.com/itm/180765558361...84.m1438.l2649
looks like flowtech clones, they come with the EXACT same gaskets and bolts that came off of the ones i got from the junkyard. the y pipe from the junkyard looked all shitty and it was 2 maybe 2 1/4 inch (why i didnt waste my time cutting it out)... still a cheezy brand... if i were to go for a cheezy brand i think i'd go for
http://www.ebay.com/itm/150689513706...84.m1438.l2649
they say direct bolt on (i assume that the ones pictured are not the ones that they send) and i really like the y pipe i have and with the money saved i could just jet hot em (won't do me any good if they dont fit though, thats why i havent gotten them yet.... i dont know about them yet because i haven't looked)

make sure you get coated headers. My first set of headmens were non coated and started rusting after 1 month or coat them yourself.

You won't get a spark plug boot on #5 either. Ask me how I know.

Re: what kind of headers are these?

just heat wrap them

i have a set of Edelbrock headers which i think are discontinued, and the y pipe, they fit really well and can get to the spark plusg without breaking your arm (no ac or heat atm)

i like the ones i have and the Hooker ones if you cant afford dynodons

Re: what kind of headers are these?

Edelbrocks sucked, tiny collector.

Heat Wrap will only hide the rust, and make it worse. Heat wrap on on coated headers will make them rust out very fast, I have seen it.

Re: what kind of headers are these?

I never said coat them yourself.

In my experince the DIY paints never last. If you can spray ceremic coats and can cure themwith heat, go for it.

Re: what kind of headers are these?

nope. you're right, formulaforever said that... now to find where i get the ceramic coating and find out if the cost of doing it myself would be less than having it done.
