Hedman's 68470 headers interference
Hi everyone,
I've got these headers for my '89 Trans Am and find they physically interfere with one of the heater pipes on cylinders 4 and 6. Has anyone has issues like this? I was thinking of having them coated to reduce any heat problems.
Thoughts?

honestly I would just relocate the hose somewhere else.... its going to melt that no matter how well you coat the headers.....

That hose is a metal pipe, so I'm thinking it probably won't melt.

I dimpled my hedmans to clear.
You can also unbolt the tab that holds the metal pipe to the car, and bend it out of the way.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I ended up returning them and got some headers I already had modified to make them fit in the car. Ended up being cheaper that way.
