Flowtech headers / spark plugs

I have read where a few others have had problems with clearance issues on changing spark plugs when they have flow tech headers installed. This is a little wrench i made that really makes it easy to get to the ones that are hard to change. Thought i would share. 5/8 spark plug socket cut down , and welded a bolt to for a handle. Works great , and makes it easy to change those hard to get to plugs. Name: exaustwrench_zpsd691a9ba.jpg

What's wrong with using a regular wrench?

Re: Flowtech headers / spark plugs

Thanks for posting a pic of this.
I've got to get to making one of these as it truly is an absolute pain to try to change 5, 6 and 8 with Flowtechs.

How long is the bolt/handle for it?

Re: Flowtech headers / spark plugs

I made something similar for my friend with flotech headers by welding a socket to a wrench.

This also seems to be a popular option

Re: Flowtech headers / spark plugs

Obviously if you can make something, go for it, but the harbor freight set is the real deal.

The only thing is it isnt really very useful for many other things. But the time it saves me doing spark plugs with headers is more than worth it.
