Hi guys I just installed a set of hedman headers 68460 long tubes on my 84 z28 they hit the frame on both sides and also the lower control arm on driver side any suggestions on how to solve this problem thanks for any help you can give

 

I dont know how it's hitting the frame on the passenger side, mine doesn't. The driver's side needs a BFH'ing to the primaries and a small part of the control arm perch trimmed off.

 

Hi thanks for replying I was definitely thinking of BMFHin it .I was also reading on a different thread changing motor mounts will help

 

I'm no expert on exhaust, but from what I've read, maybe your motor mounts are worn out. If they are, when you replace them, it should slightly raise the engine enough for the headers to fit.
