What manifold gaskets for 91 Z28

Hi,

I have a mint condition (1200 miles) L98 TPI Z28 5.7L engine that I am installing in a 68 Camaro.

It has stock cast iron manifolds. One side has a two bolt flange with a flat flange and the other has a two bolt flange but a raised lip on it. It does have AIR fittings and they have to stay.

I cannot source the correct exhaust fittings and gaskets to build my new exhaust. The biggest issue is connecting to the manifolds. The rest is easy.

Anyone near DC have a factory system they have removed? I only need the first 10-15 inches of pipe and the gaskets. Willing to pay for the correct pieces in beer or cash.

Dos anyone have part numbers sources for the exhaust outlet adaptors to fit the stock 1991 exhaust manifold outlets?

Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Pete

The flat flange manifold is designed to take a heat riser valve.

You need to find a heat riser eliminator/spacer that's used on TPI engines.

Thanks I was thinking something was missing. That presumably will mean both outlets will have the same shape/mating surface after the spacer is installed. I will find a spacer.

I still need the actual exhaust pipe fittings that bolt to the manifolds though. Based on other posts, I think I need to find a used crossover pipe so I can either fit it to the engine and adapt my 68 exhaust to it or cut it up and make a new dual exhaust with the 91 fittings at the front.

Thanks,

Pete
