hedmans with t5?

hedmans with t5?

Anyone know if the hedman shorties 68470 will work with a t5? Searched and can't find a sure answer.

Engine: L31 GM crate re-cammed , 318
Transmission: T-5 , 4 speed auto
Axle/Gears: 3.42 , ?

I have hedman 68478 headers with 17478 Y pipe . fit is fine , I think the only difference the HTC coating . (the HTC coating is not great) anyway fit is fine , good luck .......

How did the install go? Did the engine have to be lifted any?

no engine did not need to be lifted . driver side , disconnect steering shaft , install from top . pass. side , install from below . make sure both surfaces clean & smooth . use a good gasket , I like mr. gasket copper . start ALL bolts first , tighten & torque from the center out . 2 center , 2 inside outer pipe , 2 outside outer pipe . repeat several times , same sequence . start & warm engine , shut down & repeat torque . repeat several times . recheck after a few miles & from time to time . good luck ...
