headers... 91' TPI Formula

I have a 91 Formula TPI and want to install headers... the problem for me is that the headers I am looking at do not have the air tube holes in them. Is there a way to get rid of those pollution control tubes? I am new to this sort of thing, so any help would be great.

I am wondering what to do about the tubes if I install headers without the tube holes.
